Family Fun Fest is one of Compassion House’s signature community events — a day dedicated to celebrating families, building connections, and raising vital support for the programs that help parents and children heal, reunite, and grow stronger together.

Each year, families, volunteers, local businesses, churches, and community leaders gather for an afternoon filled with activities, entertainment, and opportunities to learn more about the life-changing work happening at Compassion House.

The funds raised through Family Fun Fest directly support counseling, supervised visitation, in-home services, parenting programs, and family stabilization services that help keep local families safe, supported, and together.

Special Guests & Entertainment

We are excited to welcome returning supporter Tim Chastain, who will be helping coordinate entertainment and community engagement for the event.

The Whitfield County Sheriff, Darren Pierce, will also be making a special appearance as we continue strengthening partnerships that support safe, stable families across our community.

Additional entertainment, activities, and event details will be announced as we get closer to the date.

Family Fun Fest is more than a community event — it’s an opportunity for local businesses, artisans, food providers, and service organizations to connect with families while supporting a meaningful cause.

We welcome vendors who would like to be part of a day focused on strengthening families and building community. This is a great opportunity to showcase your products or services, meet local families, and demonstrate your commitment to making a difference in the Dalton community.

Vendor participation helps support Compassion House programs that provide counseling, supervised visitation, in-home services, parenting education, and long-term family stabilization.

Vendors are responsible for bringing their own setup (tables, tents, etc.) and should be prepared for an outdoor community event environment.
